Issue:

The gardens at Robert Lodge are overgrown and have not been maintained.

Background:

There are overgrown bushes and trees in the gardens of Robert Lodge, some of which are encroaching on residents’ windows. The gardens have not been maintained, and only the lawn has been mown.

Action requested:

Residents would like to know why the garden hasn’t been maintained, and when this is due to happen.

Officer Response:

The Estates Service Team will litter pick weekly to keep the gardens clean and tidy. The maintenance of the gardens falls under City Parks.

 

City Parks will arrange a site visit for March to Robert Lodge.  There has been some discussion in the past about paving the site over.

 

Justine Harris will also attend the site visit, Housing are keen to involve residents in creating a grounds maintenance plan.

 

Action:

Housing to undertake a site visit with City Parks.
